MY STORY
Abdul Safi is the founder of Safi Rugs. He is from Afghanistan. He learned how to reweave rugs since 1982. He learned this unique art in Peshawar, Pakistan and he brought his passion to America. He lived in Manhattan, New York and repaired rugs ever since. Then, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia.
Since then, Abdul Safi has been repairing, reweaving and cleaning handmade rugs from all over the world, whether it is antique or new. Abdul Safi has the experience to repair any rug. We can repair fringes, edges, and patches plus color restoration of antique rugs.
With every stitch, a rug comes to life again.
